In order to get your license from the FAA, you must take a flying test by a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE). The DPE charges $450 – $600 for this test, called a “checkride”, that the student will be responsible to pay. Once we think you are ready to pass the DPE checkride, a date will be schedule for you to get with the Examiner. Passing the checkride is the main focus of our training; every training event has this goal in mind.
